History
In the year 2409, Lieutenant Commander DeSoto and Admiral T'nae briefed an Allied ship commander on the nature of the supposedly abandoned Romulan space station the Vault. The CO was ordered to investigate the station without being discovered. DeSoto assured the CO that this was strictly a Starfleet Intelligence mission, without any involvement of Section 31. In 2411, Commander DeSoto served in Starfleet's Top Secret Research Facility in the Izar system. Following a Terran raid, he transferred aboard Captain Othu's USS Khonshu. In the counterattack, the Konshu stayed behind in the mirror universe to allow the Khitomer Alliance party to escape Captain Kuumaarke's fleet. During this mission, his mirror counterpart was killed by Kuumaarke when she overloaded the commander's agony booth. (STO - Terran Gambit mission: "Firewall")
