Shran's family refers to the Andorian and Aenar ancestors, descendants, and relatives of Hravishran th'Zoarhi. Shran comes from a military family, and being a prominent officer himself, he found his life intertwined with the Aenar that were used as weapons by the Romulans. This led to a union between him and three Aenar, resulting in the first known Andorian-Aenar hybrid.

Shran's elder brother, either a chei or a thei, who served in the Andorian Imperial Guard.
Hravishran th'Zoarhi, also known as Thy'lek Shran or simply Shran, was the commander of the IGS Kumari, and later Chief of Staff of the Andorian Imperial Guard branch of the Federation Starfleet.
Thirijhamel zh'Dhaven, also known as Jhamel, was an Aenar zhen who was a member of Shran's shelthreth group and later in life the Special Aenar Representative to the United Federation of Planets and one of the signatories of the Federation Charter.
Onalishenar ch'Sorichas, also known as Shenar, was an Aenar chan who was a member of Shran's shelthreth group.
Lahvishri sh'Ralaavazh, also known as Vishri, was an Aenar shen who was a member of Shran's shelthreth group.
- Anishtalla zh'Dhaven, also known as Talla, was the Andorian/Aenar zhei (approximately a daughter) of Shran's shelthreth group.
