Training mission

A training mission, training cruise or cadet cruise is a type of mission assigned to cadets and trainees to educate them on working as a crew, such as on a training vessel starship. This type of exercise is commonplace in the Federation Starfleet, for Starfleet Academy cadets and trainees. (FASA RPG module: Star Fleet Officer's Manual)
