The USS Xanthii (
) was a Federation starship, a Constitution-class heavy cruiser of the Achernar-subclass, ordered for construction in the 23rd century, named for the star Xanthii.
Construction of Xanthii was authorized by the Starfleet appropriation of stardate 5930. (ST reference: Star Fleet Technical Manual)
- The stardate given would seem to suggest this ship was ordered during the TAS era. It is not positively known if this vessel was built, only that it was authorized. A later starship was built using the registry NCC-1743, the USS Franklin. This might indicate this vessel was not built and the number was assigned to a different name.
