United Earth Information Service

The United Earth Information Service was a news organization active in the 22nd century.

History

On 18 June 2118, the service published an article by Talia Felson on the 20-foot molecular transport of a banana, a demonstration by Emory Erickson that was attended by Zefram Cochrane and a host of reporters, engineers and scientists.

In 2311, the article was used as bibliographic reference for an overview of Erickson's accomplishments in Federation: The First 150 Years, along with Danica Erickson's book How My Father's Invention Changed Space Travel. (ST reference: Federation: The First 150 Years)
