Vralk was a male Klingon in the 24th century, a member of the House of Grunnil. As a youth, he was taught traditional Klingon ways by Grunnil, the head of his House, including the belief that females did not belong in positions of authority.
Vralk joined the Klingon Defense Force in the 2370s, and in early 2376, was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. Later that year, he was transferred to the IKS Gorkon, where he served as pilot. He objected to serving under female first officer Commander Tereth, and attempted to challenge her in the midst of battle. As he did so, Tereth acted to push him out of the way of a falling bulkhead, which fell on and killed her instead.
Realizing his honor was lost, Vralk appealed to his cousin Lokor, the Gorkon's chief of security, to assist him in the Mauk-to'Vor. Lokor refused, and instead, Vralk was put to an ignoble death by Captain Klag. (TNG - The Brave and the Bold, Book Two novella: The Final Artifact; GKN novel: A Good Day to Die)
