I am a doctoral researcher at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, specializing in the history of Southeast Europe. My research focuses on the Cold War, particularly Yugoslavia's interaction with Southern Africa, with a specific interest in Zimbabwe.
From my early days on Wikipedia, my focus has always been on addressing often overlooked, the non-dominant, and the marginalized. My engagement with Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects remains a important part of my journey. With over 34,600 live edits on English Wikipedia alone, my contributions have grown from a niche focus on local minority issues to a much broader engagement with topics related to the Global South, socialist Yugoslavia, and minority histories across the world.
I started by addressing a topic close to home—improving the coverage of the Serbs of Croatia, particularly in the rural areas of eastern Slavonia, where the stories of these communities often get lost in the broader narratives. Over time, my interests expanded, leading me to explore other minority communities across Croatia and eventually beyond its borders.
