Who Wants to Be a Millionaire: Special Editions is a video game based on the popular quiz show, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? released in 2011 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
Gameplay
The gameplay most closely follows the show's original rules, including the original money tree. The goal is to win 1,000,000 of your country's local currency by answering 15 multiple choice questions. Players also have the original three lifelines to help them out: 50:50, Phone-A-Friend, and Ask the Audience.
The game has several expansion packs which allow the players to choose which genre they want the questions to follow. Some of these genres include Sci-Fi, Sports, Video Games, and Movies.
Despite how closely the game follows the show's original rules, most of the music, cues and graphics used are based on that of the 2007 format of the UK show, though a few of the original music and cues are used.
