MH3: Flooded Forest Music Theme |

The Flooded Forest is a location introduced in Monster Hunter 3. It is a large forested wetland with many sections partially, or even completely, submerged. This habitat is ideal for a large range of creatures, including most aquatic Leviathans (Lagiacrus, Royal Ludroth, Ludroth, and Gobul) and a variety of insects and mushrooms.
MHP3rd Revision
Due to the removal of underwater battles in MHP3rd, the Flooded Forest was revised. Areas 3, 5, and 6 are no longer completely underwater. Areas 4 and 8 have been modified to no longer have any deep water (water deep enough for the hunter to swim). Also, the shortcut to Area 6 has been removed, these revisions were revoked in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.

Notes
- Strangely enough, if you stay submerged near the ruins in Area 8, an ambient tune will start to play, even if your music volume is set to "Min". It is both eerie and tranquil.
- There is a one-way shortcut to Area 6, which can be found by diving into the water to the West of the Base Camp and swimming through the cave.
