Tina Yuan (b. 1950) is a dancer and choreographer who was a principal dancer with The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. During Season 7, she and Clive Thompson appeared in three dance segments. They performed a blues number which was repeated (First: Episode 0851) and two inserts which were only used once, performing a Juba dance in Episode 0845 and a dance interval in Episode 0887.
Born in Shanghai, China, Yuan moved to New York City to study dance. She performed with Ailey's company in productions such as Hidden Rites (1973). She founded her own troupe, East-West Contemporary Dance Company, and later taught dance at CalArts.
