Ambient Fish

Ambient fish are attracted to the reef with various combinations of plants, coral and decorative items. They are accessible on the Combinations tab of the Collection which can be reached from the Menu.

Prior to their creation, hints for each combination can be purchased with Pearls, but the table below has every known combo to date. Once a fish is acquired, the player can name the species as they desire. These names are specific to that player only, and do not change the names for ambient fish in other players' reefs. Also, the player can change the names any number of times, if they wish.

Fish-attracting Combinations

Each combination in the table below consists of a primary Living plant, along with one or two items from any of the Coral , Ornamental , or Specials categories of the Nursery. The entire combination must be contained within a 6x6 tile area (the space that nine 2x2 objects would occupy.) Any difficulties in getting a combination to work are resolved by repositioning the items in it.
