There's many things I've come to hate about you. One of them is how clever you think you are. You put a technological control collar on me, then you sent me to fight the Elemental Master of Technology?
The control implant[1] (also referred to as a control collar[2] and a control device) was a gadget used by Lord Ras to force Nokt into being loyal to him. A small chip is attached to the back of Nokt's head and every time he disobeys Ras, he can trigger the device's remote to electrocute him by doing so. During the final game of Tournament of the Sources with Nokt, Sora used her Tech powers to transform the control implant into a tech bee to attack him, thus accidentally freeing him from Ras' grip.
History
Rising Ninja
After Nokt tried to attack Lord Ras, he attached the implant to the back of his head and electrocuted him to show him what would happen if he disobeyed him again.
The Shape of Motion
When Nokt attempted to kill Cinder after defeating him, Ras activated the device on Nokt to stop him from attacking Cinder.
The Final Game
During Nokt's battle with Sora, the latter uses her tech power to turn the control device into a small bee robot, which began to attack Nokt, freeing him at the same time from Ras' control means. When Nokt betrays Ras, the latter tries to use the device again, only to learn Nokt no longer wore the implant.
