Spinjitzu! is the 87th issue of the Ninjago Magazine. It includes 892287 Glutinous and Scuba Cole is featured on the cover. The comic included is titled Back to Merlopia!. It realised on the 22nd of March 2022.
Back to Merlopia!
At the Monastery of Spinjitzu, during a break from one training session, Glutinous arrives from Merlopia, he tells the ninja that the Merlopia needs their help, he tells them that Gripe and some renegade Maaray Guards are trying to conquer Merlopia due to the absence of the newly crowned king Benthomaar because he has gone to search a Water Dragon after hearing rumors about it.
The ninja and Glutinous arrive at the Endless Sea with the Hydro Bounty and use multiple APS suits to travel underwater, unfortunately they are attacked by Gripe. After a couple bad decisions made by Lloyd, Glutinous suggests Lloyd that he should cause a distraction because he is a preferable _target for the rebel Maaray Guards.
The ninja are later able to enter the palace with a supply hatch and are able to defeat a group of Maaray Soldiers. The ninja then go inside one of the sea tunnels without knowing that it is actually a trap made by Gripe who floods the tunnels with the intent of drowing the ninja. Luckily Glutinous is able to save them by opening one of the tunnel's doors.
The ninja try to catch up with Gripe but they are too late and their enemies are able to go inside the throne room and lock the door just before the ninja arrive. Kai would later do an impulsive action by using Spinjitzu to open the door and fight Gripe and the Maaray Soldiers. After his defeat, Gripe is getting exiled and Glutinous promises the ninja that he would watch over Merlopia before Benthomaar would return.

- This issue reveals the following:
- The Merlopians now know the truth about Trimaar's death. As a result, they are now allies of the ninja.
- Benthomaar and Glutinous returned to Merlopia after the Great Flood.
- Gripe has allied himself with some renegade Maaray Guards and due to their crimes they are considered traitors by the other Merlopians.
Errors
- While there are several sea currents all over Merlopia in the show, in the comic there are just transparent tunnels.
- In Page 14, Kai comments on Merlopia by saying that he doesn't have any good memories of the kingdom, even though this comic actually features him and Cole going to Merlopia for the first time.
- When Jay took a Maaray Sai from one of the guards, he had Kai's hair.
