"Only You" is a song featured on ABC's Once Upon a Time. It was written by Vince Clarke. It débuts in the second episode of the fifth season.
This song was released on March 15, 1982 as Yazoo's first single.
History
At some point, Neal plays this song to Emma, who appreciates it. ("Dreamcatcher")
During a welcoming ball at Camelot castle held by King Arthur in honour of the alleged Savior Regina and the group of people that accompanied her to Camelot, Henry Mills stands at the sidelines as the festivities are going on. He notices a girl his age, and with David's encouragement, he approaches to give her a drink. She expresses boredom about the ball, which is a regular occurrence in Camelot. To lighten the mood, Henry pulls out a music player device, explaining that he got it from the Savior as a gift after he saved his people from an alternate reality. She is amazed at this, asking if he is a knight, but he proudly defines himself as a writer instead. Henry hands her one of the device's earbuds and puts the other pair in his ear, and after she copies this action, he presses a switch on the device to play the song "Only You". The girl grins in awe and introduces herself as Violet, and he offers her his name as well before they shake hands. ("The Price")
At Granny's Diner, and with absolutely no recollection of knowing each other due to Emma's interference with the third Dark Curse, Henry spots Violet looking at the juke box. He shows her how it works by putting money in it and choosing the song "Only You". When the song begins playing, Violet somehow senses the song is familiar to her although neither she nor Henry remember it as the same song they listened to at the Camelot ball. As it happened six weeks ago, Violet introduces herself to him, Henry gives her his name and they shake hands. ("The Price")
In an Operation Cobra mission, Emma joins Henry in retrieving Violet's missing horse Nicodemus. As the pair sit in the yellow bug together, Henry mentions winning over Violet with the song "Only You," which was a trick Neal once taught him, as Emma also recalls Neal pulled the same move with her. ("Dreamcatcher")
While searching Neal's old apartment in New York for clues about where Henry disappeared to, Emma realizes after finding a record for the song "Only You" that he was likely with Violet. ("Only You")

Lyrics
- Looking from a window above, it's like a story of love
- Can you hear me
- Came back only yesterday
- I'm moving further away
- Want you near me
- All I needed was the love you gave
- All I needed for another day
- And all I ever knew
- Only you
- Sometimes when I think of her name
- When it's only a game
- And I need you
- Listen to the words that you say
- It's getting harder to stay
- When I see you
- All I needed was the love you gave
- All I needed for another day
- And all I ever knew
- Only you
- All I needed was the love you gave
- All I needed for another day
- And all I ever knew
- Only you
- This is going to take a long time
- And I wonder what's mine
- Can't take no more
- Wonder if you'll understand
- It's just the touch of your hand
- Behind a closed door
- All I needed was the love you gave
- All I needed for another day
- And all I ever knew
- Only you
