Past
Dwanger was born on Drum Island, where he studied medicine. He eventually became a doctor, but during the Doctor Hunt, he was kicked out of the country. Due to a serious illness at the time, he quit his profession, before the illness was miraculously cured. Convinced it was due to his anger at Wapol, Dwanger began traveling to make people angry in the hope that it would cure them.
One Piece Odyssey
While on Water 7, Dwanger's wanted poster was spread across the island and picked up by the Straw Hat Pirates. They tracked him down and quickly defeated him, turning him over to Margin to claim his bounty.
