Maasu is an officer of the criminal group Flower Angel and a major antagonist of Grand Line Dream Adventure Log.[1]
Appearance
Maasu is a man with a prominent nose and slight stubble on his chin. He has blond semi-long hair with longer bangs that curl upwards around his face. He wears a a gray jacket, a red collared shirt and a necklace.
Personality
Maasu is deceptive and untrustworthy individual, claiming to honor promises but using technicalities to avoid fulfilling his end of the bargain. He has no sympathy for animals like the Sennenryu, considering them "mere beasts" whose feelings do not matter.[1]
He has a verbal tic of ending his sentences with zamāsu (ザマース?), a variant of the archaic verb zamasu (ざます?) meaning "to be".

As an officer of Flower Angel, Maasu has authority over lower-ranking members.[1]

Maasu uses a sword in combat, attacking with quick slashes.[1]
History
Grand Line Dream Adventure Log
Maasu, Choshi and Tokkuri were attempting to catch Pokori on Croissant Island when the Straw Hat Pirates arrived. Correctly deducing that they were Pokori's friends, Maasu and his comrades attacked the crew, but were defeated. After telling Luffy that they did not know Pokori's whereabouts, they escaped while he was distracted.
Maasu later traveled to Little Garden where he struck a deal with Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine who were stranded on the island. In exchange for procuring the treasure of the island for Dandelion, he would help the agents off the island. After the duo managed to unearth part of the treasure, a giant axe, Maasu appeared to claim it. However, he refused to help Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine since they only recovered half of the treasure. Maasu then took the axe and left the island.[1]
Aboard the giant battleship commanded by Flower Angel, Maasu, Choshi and Tokkuri confronted the Straw Hat Pirates who were trying to free the Sennenryu on the ship. Maasu's attitude angered the Straw Hats and the two sides fought once more. In the end, Maasu's group was defeated and the Straw Hats successfully freed the Sennenryu.
