The Otearai Pirates are a crew commanded by Sekken De Tearai. They capture other pirates, collecting their bounties.[1]

After hearing that Monkey D. Luffy was on a specific island, the crew traveled there, intent on claiming his 
500,000,000 bounty. However, they mistook Chinpy for Luffy, and attacked him for the bounty before being swiftly defeated.[1]
They were later asked by Eunkov to act in their movie, but left when they revealed that the cast would not be paid.[2]
