Maria is a member of the Notorious Blanco Family a mafia gang that controls the underworld in the Kimbro Triangle. They are sworn enemies of the Five Families of the West and a new rising power. Maria is the third lady in charge of the Blanco Family. She is also in charge of the Legions that serve as Goodfellas in the Blanco Mafia family. She is also the most famous member of the Blanco family, and the most beloved.
Maria runs the clean side of the Blanco family. She sells goods legally, sends out merchant ships, and offers security for the people of the Kimbro Triangle. she has her hands on most cargo that ships threw the area and runs a crack legal office that gets most of their Goodfellas and Made Men out of legal trouble. What she can not handle on the light side of the world Blanco Blartha or Magnus Ignis handles threw underworld channels. They will even go as far as brain bleaching witnesses minds in order to remove their ability to testify against them.
Appearance
Maria is a giantess, and stands 22 feet tall. She is also well fit as she actively participates in gymnastics to keep herself in shape. Most of the time she can be seen wearing her white dress and silks.
Personality
Maria is a very strong willed women who grew up with a lot of pain. She lost most of her family in her early years of life, and grew up with her cousin Blanco Blartha. The two were not really close and once they reached adulthood they went their seperate ways. She got married to another giant, but lost him to a sea king. She went into depression for a while, but pulled herself out of it and began to make a buisness for herself. Blartha then recruited her to work for him, moving her from the Grand Line to the Western Blues. Here she set up shop, and began to run the clean side of the Blanco Family operations.
Among all the members of the family Maria is the most lenient and forgiving. She does not hold grudges and she sympathizes with people easily. It is for this reason why she is the heart of the Family. She checks in on all of the giants, and her Goodfellas making sure they are taken care of. She also takes care of the none family members on her island. Using the wealth she gained form her families actions and business she runs civil services that the World Government leaves on the waste side. This includes Child Care, Orphanages, and food banks. She also supports local art festivals and a major annual writing competition.
However one should not be fooled by the flowers on the outside. Maria is still a gangster. As kind as she is, she will remove someone she deems is a threat to her family. She is extremely protective of the Blanco family Giants and her little goodfellas. Any slight against them and she will personal smash you into blood paste.
Powers and Abilities
Physical Abilities
Maria is a giant, and as a result she is far stronger than your normal human. Not only that, but she is a advent practitionar of gymnastics. While this may not be a combat art it does leave her very fit for a giant and in the best of health. She is very agile for her size allowing her to dodge attacks that most giants can't. She is also skilled with a simple club, which she uses to strike at anyone who gets past her Legions to attack her.
Evolution
Maria does not have one, but she is the one who securted the potion from Djoser. Her and the pirate have a stable and pleasant work relationship.
Devil Fruit
Buta Buta no Mi is the devil fruit that Maria has. It allows her to create Legionaries at will. In order to do this however she has to put her stimina into it, and the Legionaries she creates are only as strong as she is. However she does have one major advantage the other uses of this devil fruit did not. She is a Giant. When she creates Legionaries they are partially as strong as she is or just as strong. Normally she takes a day and creates a Legionnaire. About one a week. They are just as strong as a giant, but they are the size of humans. These Legionairs are known as "Goodfellas". The Legionnaire she create to just run the buisness are called "Wise Guys."
It should be noted while the Blanco Family itself does not make large distinction between them the Legionnaire do. They have their own ranks and structure. The ones outside of Maria direct control go by their military ranks, and opperate under their own commanders. For the Legion maria is their Empress and they serve under her command.
