Okada Yomotsu

KPortrait

Enough? You gotta want more, more than anyone else, working up that appetite until you’re hungrier than the person ahead of you. So much so that by the time you’re finally done, you’ll be sick to your stomach, spilling your guts out. Only then you can say ‘I’ve had enough’. Okada Yomotsu

Okada Yomotsu is a blacksmith and samurai initially hailing from the Okada Clan in the country of before he and his clansman before exiled from based around numerous controversies associated with the clan head, causing him and his family to move to at a young age. Hiding his identity and history, Yomotsu eventually became a shipwright for a number of years before building his own ship to sail the seas. After years of sailing, Yomotsu used his skills to create knock-offs of ships and numerous items as his main source of income along the Grand Line, selling them off for the genuine article, eventually becoming wanted for the forgery of weapons, ships and maps, turning to piracy to help fund his excursions.

Appearance

Yomotsu is a young man with a gruff-looking appearance, mixing his physical outlook from his homeland with the more casual aspect from from his current residence. Yomotsu has long black hair that is tied along the back in the form of a ponytail with a red band, with a single bang falling alongside the front of his face. In addition, he has rather extended sideburns that match the upper top and sides of his hair that are sleekly swayed back. Along his lower chin, he has a small stubble that moves along his jawline, that, when compared to his overall outfit, tends to pass him off as a sort of vagabond.

He has sharp pointing eyebrows, and black eyes. However, while in a battle involving a monk during his time in Paradise, Yomotsu suffered a severe injury during the altercations, being highlighted by a large scar he recieved across his right eye, stretching across his forehead all the down his cheek and alongside his sideburn. With these features, they often give Yomotsu a rather stern look, making him look older than he actually is by how serious or jagged his eyes get when the situation grows tense. In terms of clothes, he dons an eccentric-looking kimono commonly found in Wano, with a few added articles of clothes added from his time in the Paradise islands to mix their distinct styles. This is attributed to the fact that Yomotsu desired to keep a little of his heritage intact while incorporating his newfound life outside of New World.

One such piece is the unique leopard-spotted scarf he wears he wears around his neck. Orange in color, making it distinct looking in contrast to the other colors. Mostly white in color, Yomotsu uses a kimono that is tied along his waist with a leopard-spotted obi belt to match his scarf. In addition, he wears a long red cloak with a small hoodie attached to the back, protecting him from the weather and obscuring his appearance from the public. In equal terms, his odd-looking and mis-matched appearance does tend to draw unwanted attention to him, in which most cases, he carries a pair of sunglasses and fake beard under his cloak.
