While i was growing up, I'd have never assumed that the world had this many surprises. I grew up thinking i could win every fight. But seeing the pirates traveling these sees... it just shows me how i have yet to truly get started! But, i am not afraid of any pirate! I am not afraid of any marine! I am not afraid of the world! No... the world should be afraid of ME!Remilia while facing Bravado Diego[1]

Ryusei Remilia is a Rookie Pirate, and the Captain of the Brawler Pirates. She's made a name for herself thanks to her tall stature and overwhelming physical strength,[8] despite being very young. She's known as the "Brawling Beauty" (乱闘美人 Rantō Bijin), due to her tendency to get into fights, and attractive appearance. After the events of Archipelago Altercation[1], she has gained a high enough bounty to be considered a Super Rookie.[5]

Despite her pirate career having barely begun, she's already very competent at what she's doing. This is mainly thanks to her unrivaled strength.[9] Remilia had begun right after she found, and ate the Mete Mete no Mi, making her a Meteor-Human (メテオル人間 Meteoru Ningen).[6]

Before becoming a Pirate, she was a Street Fighter and earned money by challenging people to a fight. While she has earned money from it, the World Government soon stepped in and tried to get her to stop. But she refused to stop her ways to get money through fighting, since she loved the thrill of battle and considered it an easy way to get money. She left her father out of her business to keep them from harm, and became a Pirate to continue earning money and various other goods through fighting. But worrying about what might happen if she ever became too strong.[10]

While other Pirates might travel the world for riches, to be free, or to become the Pirate King, she mainly cares about doing what she loves without having to worry about the law, and fight other strong opponents for the thrill of battle.[11] Causing trouble to bring attention to herself and attract people to fight. Unaware of the trouble that will follow. As well as spend time with her crew, whom she considers friends more than mere crew members, and would defend them with her life.[12]

Ever since a certain encounter, her fighting spirit had reached new heights, and Remilia has become much more of an active pirate.[11] Her desire to meet strong opponents and to become stronger so she can outmatch them is her driving force in being a pirate. And eventually she learned to realize how she wasn't quite prepared for the world of pirates after all. Nontheless, she continues onward to become a respectable pirate, and to find even more powerful opponents, and maybe one day find love as well.[13]

Following the events of Under Sea Slaughter, Remilia had been separated from her crew, while also becoming more infamous, being given a bounty of Beli 450,000,000 which was one of the highest bounties amongst the generation of Super Rookies, while also being referred to as World Breaker (世界の破滅者 , Sekai No Hametsu-Sha?, which can mean "World Ruiner"). Having gone missing for over a month, she appeared again, only to be captured by Phoebe.

In February of 1580, she is revealed to still be alive while attending the party hosted by Benjamin Tabart when Phoebe brought her. Now being forced to work under Phoebe and for the World Government. Few months afterwards, Remilia manages to defeat Phoebe and free herself from capture. Now traveling the New World in order to one day find her crew again. As of 1581, Remilia has a bounty of Beli 700,000,000.

Alias and Epithet

Alias

"Remi"
(レミ Remi)

A shorter version of her name given to her by her old friends back in the days. She still prefers it if people call her that when she gets allong with them. Ever since she became a pirate, asking people to call her Remi has various reasons. However, there are mainly two reasons:
1. She considers someone a friend and thus wants them to refer to her in the form of a shorter version of her name. Like a nickname. This is also why she wants all of her crew members to call her Remi, as a way of telling them that she considers them friends, and wants to be considered a friend by them as well.
2. She has a crush on someone and wants them to use it because she thinks it makes her sound more cute. Noticable when she first met Henry Avery and Azrael and told them that they can call her Remi, due to already being attracted to them.

Epithet

"Brawling Beauty"
(乱闘美人 Ranto Bijin)

A name given to her once she started to get into street fighting. She was a brawler by heart who never used any weapons and only needed her own physical strength to reign victorious. Due to how beautiful she is too, the name Brawling Beauty fit her incredibly well. The name has become a lot more notorious ever since she became a pirate. While it was merely a simple title back when she was a street fighter, it's now a genuine epithet to describe Remilia. Most commonly used by fellow pirates.

"The Challenger"
(チャレンジャー Charenja)

Given her nature, she likes to fight strong opponents. Even if they might be stronger than she is, she will still challenge them to test herself. The simple name of The Challenger was given to her, thanks to her love to fight people. When someone shows great potential, she insists that they fight her and attack her with all they have got.

"World Breaker"
(世界ブレーカ Sekai Burēka)[14]

Once Remilia had become infamous among the sea, she had become notorious for her highly destructive tendencies. Wherever the Brawler Pirates went, destruction was sure to follow. The reason behind it often unknown. To the public, Remilia's destruction is seen as nothing more than a mindless desire. Combined with her highly destructive devil fruit powers, people think that she is capable of destroying the world itself. Because of this, World Breaker has been given to her by the World Government as an epithet, to let the public know just how dangerous she is.

Remilia is a tall, beautiful girl with messy, long black hair, deep red eyes and a ridulously large bust size. Her strength is represented though her toned body, thanks to her prominent muscles that she shows off a lot with her specific way of dressing. Her stomach shows off a prominent row of hardened abs. Causing many people to be surprised when they see her pretty, effeminate face, despite her being so bulky and tall.

Her clothes are ripped and tattered, including her hat, due to her getting into fights with those specific clothes all the time. Also because ever since she got into fighting, she wanted a proper outfit that wouldn't hold her back whenever she got into a brawl. Eventually she had a theme for herself that made her look more like a typical delinquent, and chosing matching black colors throughout her whole outfit. Her hat is also no more than decoration, but she does use it sometimes to hide her occasionally blushing up face.

When compared to an average man, Remilia is incredibly tall. Looking down on most people and being forced to crouch down whenever she wants to fit through a door. It's a mystery to how she got this tall, because both of her parents are people of average height. Her tall stature helps in making her overall more intimidating. Expecially when compared to most other women her age. At the age of 18, she is a remarkable 8'3" feet tall. And it's presumed that she will grow even more over the years.

Her large chest is wrapped in a sarashi in order to cover them up. Her arms are also somewhat covered in those same bandages, including her legs. These are mainly just for aesthetic reasons though to make her look more like an active fighter. Remilia wears a large, open jacket that reaches down all the way to her calves. Its decorated with various golden brooches and rings. After her fair share of battles, it has also gotten slightly damaged and ripped. Remilia choses to leave it just like that though and not fix it. Seeing it as a sign for just how many battles she has already been in, despite being fairly young.

Below her left eye is a beauty mark that she has had since birth. She had inherited it from her mother. Same for her red eyes. But her black hair on the other hand is something that was passed down from her father. When she was still young, she would regularly take care of her hair, while keeping it somewhat long. The older she got, the less she cared about her hairstyle and instead just let it grow widly without ever taking proper care of it. She does wash it still, however. But she said herself that she isn't going to let it cut anytime soon.

Remilia has changed very little in her overall appearance, and still sports many of her most identifiable traits, such as her very long, black hair and toned body. Her body has become noticeably more toned however, sporting even greater muscles and much more prominent abs. She has also become taller, now standing at 9’8” tall.

Her overall style in clothes has changed, since Remilia chooses to no longer wear clothes that show too much of her skin, due to the reason that following the hundreds of experiments that Phoebe has conducted on her body, her body has been littered in numerous, unsightly scars that she wishes to hide. There is a small scar on the right side of her cheek, and many more prominent scars all over her legs, arms, hands and back.

Remilia’s new clothing takes on a style similar to traditional Miko. Wearing pant-like, red hakama around her legs that are held together using a red ribbon tied into a knot, which expose some of her thighs. On her chest she wears a red, frilly blouse that is held together via straps. Underneath her red attire she wears a tight, black bodysuit that covers most of her torso, save for her arms. Her arms are somewhat exposed, as she wears shoulderless sleeves around her forearms, with bandages underneath. On her feet she wears white socks and flat, brown sandals attached with a red strap around her toes.

When she is disguising herself, Remilia will often wear different kinds of masks that cover her entire face. Most commonly seen with a fox mask with red markings and details which has become her signature style while disguised as “Yune”. While wearing a mask she also wears very tight bandages around the exposed part of her skin in order to conceal more of scars, as well as compressing her muscles in order to appear somewhat more effeminate.

  • 1st Bounty: Beli 100,000,000. - She completely destroyed the island known as "Cod" of Vempala, and later defeated the captain of The Dastardly Devil Pirates, Bravado Diego. For her incredibly high strength and destructive potential, she has been given a bounty of Beli 100,000,000. Giving her the status of a Super Rookie after her very first bounty.
  • 2nd Bounty: Beli 150,000,000. - It is unknown how and when Remilia got her second bounty. It's been speculated that it's because of a sudden increase in crew size making her, as the captain, an overall more dangerous _target.
  • 3rd Bounty: Beli 250,000,000. - During her stay on Junk Island, Remilia has completely destroyed a weapon's factory supported by Gremor, a marine, as well as defeating Margolo, who's gang was responsible for defending the factory. Increasing her bounty to Beli 250,000,000.
  • 4th Bounty: Beli 450,000,000. - For not only fighting the highly competent marine known as Phoebe, Remilia is reponsible for the destruction of the kingdom knowns as Pavlopetri, where she has decimated the entire kingdom, and eventually even flooded it. Thus increasing her bounty to Beli 450,000,000.

I am gonna take you to the guy who wanted to put an end to you to begin with, and i am gonna let HIM decide what your fate is!"
