This is a friendly note to let editors know about a positive change that impacts how Wikimedia content is shared on social networks. This change applies to all wikis.
Previously sharing a Wikipedia link on Twitter was not a joyful experience. The link was shared without an image.
Now a preview is shown:

When testing this feature please note that you may need to purge the cache of a shared page before you can see the new preview.
Please also note, that no description currently shows and this is tracked in T142090. There is no need to report this.
