Project Name: wikiwho
Type of quota increase requested: CPU/RAM
Reason: The wikiwho project was created following T290768: Request creation of wikiwho VPS project. Once that happened, we had to move the existing https://wikiwho.wmflabs.org proxy (formerly on the commtech project) to the wikiwho project because you can't have an HTTP proxy with the same name as a different VPS project (i.e. T131367). As a result, we had to use some of our quota allotted to us because we need to keep https://wikiwho.wmflabs.org running while the new system is set up.
This request is first to increase our quota to have an additional 2 GB RAM and 4 VCPUs. For the latter, we believe there was an oversight at T290768. 24 CPU cores were requested but only 21 were granted. It may very well be that we don't need this much, but we wanted to match what the current WikiWho stack is exactly to be on the safe side. So if there is a concern on increasing the quota further, we can see how things fly as-is.
Regardless, we noticed Horizon doesn't permit you to create a VPS instance that consumes all the available quota. The biggest "flavor" we're able to select is 16 cores and ~35 GB RAM. Thus, we are making a special request that a single instance be created with all of our allotted CPUs and RAM (24 CPU cores and 122 GB RAM, assuming the aforementioned quota increase is granted). Can this be done? The instance name can be wikiwho-prod01.
