I'm an interface administrator from trwiki and trwikiquote, I like contributing to Wikimedia projects technically. Even though I'm not so experienced in PHP, I can do basic configuration changes for WMF wikis. I have 4 bots operating on trwiki, most of them use Pywikibot framework.

Could you prioritize this? On Tuesday there will be a meeting where we will be talking about the opening of the Turkish Wikivoyage, we would love to have the opportunity to showcase changes directly on the wiki with it's dedicated subdomain without having to use incubator.

@Evolutionoftheuniverse: Priority should normally be set by product managers, maintainers, community liaisons, or developers who plan to work on the task, or by the bugwrangler or experienced community members, not by the reporter filing the bug report or by outside observers. So if you're not planning to work on the task, please don't adjust the priority. Thanks :)

@Evolutionoftheuniverse, are you going to work on the task and handle publishing the patch? If not so, please don't triage tasks. Thanks :)

@Trizek-WMF, I wanted to test this by creating a new account in trwiki. But I neither see the special mentee homepage, nor see the help form that supposed to appear in the right side of the bottom. How do I actually access to mentor/mentee tools?
@Catrope, just wanted to remind you that it's October 19th today.
This seems resolved. I can also confirm that the bug was fixed.
Oct 13 2020
this will be deployed today, on the European mid-day backport window (11:00–12:00 UTC)
LGTM. @Vito-Genovese, we'll use a specific maintenance script to see if there are conflicts, and will make automatic moves from the main namespace to the desired namespaces.

@Catrope and @Trizek-WMF, any updates for this task?
Oct 4 2020
As you already uploaded a patchset and triaged the task..
Sep 30 2020
@Catrope, labels of help panel links seem good. Tasks also seem good. I'm an interface admin and I have "editinterface" permission, so I can change them at any time I guess. So, nothing needs to be changed for now.
@Trizek-WMF and @MMiller_WMF, anything new?
Sep 29 2020
We created an abuse filter for that. Hopefully that will solve our problem.

@Trizek-WMF and @MMiller_WMF, {{Viki bağlantısız}} is the trwiki equivalent for enwiki's Template:Underlinked. Which means "This article needs more links to other articles to help integrate it into the encyclopedia. Please help improve this article by adding links that are relevant to the context within the existing text." So this can be used for the "Add links" task

@Catrope, @Trizek-WMF, @MMiller_WMF: If possible, could you please give an ETA for this? We already found 10 users willing to help newbies in one day, and we're so excited for this :)

Might seem like an irrelevant question, but couldn't find a better place to ask, and didn't want to create a separate task for this either. If we gather community consensus, can we limit the usage of Special:ClaimMentee to specific group(s)? I'm not sure if we really would like every autoconfirmed user to be able to be able to claim mentees as it just takes 4 days to become an autoconfirmed user by default wiki settings.
Ping, anything new?
Okay then. Will probably push and deploy this week, when I have some spare time..
You may request help from a steward. Stewards act as a regular local admin (and a bureacrat, when required) in WMF wikis where there is no active administrator. This doesn't have something to do with Phabricator, and if I'm right, an admin needs to use rights to change content model, so a steward may help.
This is weird. The namespace 100 and 101 exists for "Kişi" and "Kişi tartışma" ("Person" and "Person talk"). Normally, I would assign 100 for Portal, and 101 for Portal_talk, but since they are already set, I don't want to assign Portal to another ns number. @Urbanecm, any thoughts on this? Currently, wgExtraNamespaces for trwikisource looks like this:
I'll claim this myself.
@Superyetkin, @Trizek-WMF, as every page is translated, we now can proceed :)
2 months later, I tried to check what your community says about this using Google Translator (idk Romanian, so eh). The community seems to agree on the fact that Romanian Wikinews will become a spam nest, because there don't seem to be active patrollers. As you haven't updated this task since 2 months, and the community look very negative to this, I am closing the task as declined.
Sure.
@Urbanecm, there still seems to be no response since 25 June. The community is so small that the wiki gets ~20 edits in 5 days. What should we do? I can push the required configuration change, but don't want to proceed before community consensus.
@Arxivist, if you have started one, can you give us a link to your community's discussion on this? thanks.
LGTM.

This task hasn't received an answer in nearly 2 weeks. As per @Urbanecm, I'm closing this as not actionable.
I uploaded the patch, but don't really know if this is the real solution. Default value is false, and trwiki is not explicitly stated as true, but it seems like it has the shop link in it's sidebar though. So this configuration change may not be the solution by itself.
LGTM. I'll directly remove 'enwiki' => true from wmgUseWikimediaShopLink since the default value is false.
