Archer is the head of Team Rocket and one of the executives when Giovanni is gone in HeartGold and SoulSilver, and is one of the two interim bosses. In Gold and Silver, and Crystal the same thing happens although Archer, like the other executives, was unidentified and shared the same sprite as the other executives. He serves as the main antagonist of Gold and Silver, and Crystal, and their remakes.

Appearance

Archer is a young man with fair skin, spikey aquamarine hair, and teal eyes. He wears a long white sleeve shirt with a black undershirt and the Team Rocket emblem printed near his right sleeve. He also wears a black belt, white pants, and white shoes.

Personality

Ambitious, cunning with great leadership skills. Archer does a decent job in taking over Giovanni's role as Director. At one point, he even disguises himself as his former superior to throw-off the protagonist. In battle, Archer is formidable and shouldn't be underestimated as he possesses some fairly powerful Pokémon.

Games

Gold, Silver and Crystal

He appears in the Goldenrod Radio Tower as an opponent. Once defeated, Archer disbands Team Rocket for good as he believes that Giovanni has left them for good. When he leaves, the Director comes up from the elevator and gives the player character a Rainbow Wing or a Silver Wing depending on the version of the game.

Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!

Archer is first met in the team rocket hideout. Before defeating Giovanni, You must defeat Archer. Upon defeating him, he runs and you go on to defeat Giovanni. Afterwards, in the Silph Co. facility, you can find Archer again with a grunt. Along with Trace, You battle Archer in a double battle. After this, Archer won't appear again within the story.

After defeating the league, however, go back into the Rocket Hideout and you can find Archer in Giovanni's office. Angry about Team Rocket being disbanded, he challenges you to a final battle. After being defeated for the last time, he reads a letter that he had made. but out of anger he tore it up. He then leaves the office. As he is now leaving Kanto.
