Diamond (Adventures)

...why would I do something as silly as that? Escaping is just your opinion, right? I chose the course of action I thought is correct, you're always pushing me around, I wanted to say this before...You're not the boss of me!Diamond in Pokémon Adventures: Volume 33

Diamond & Pearl arc

Platinum arc

Personality

He is mostly joyful and is always seen to be happy-go-lucky. Though he may not look like it but he is mostly smart as shown many times just like when he was training in Iron Island. Though he does not get angry easily, he was pushed through his temper because of Pearl, but the two got back to being friends later after resolving it. He is usually shown eating. He is driven by emotion, thus his association with Mesprit. For his skills, he is given the title of Empathizer.

Biography

Diamond & Pearl arc

Apparently, Diamond knew all along that Platinum was not just a tour guide, though he kept it secret because he didn't want his friendship to be destroyed. After the course of time, the three continued to travel and apparently getting gym badges instead of climbing to Mt. Coronet. and became closer friends. Sometime after, their secret was revealed, and they went their separate ways for a while. During his time separated from Pearl and Platinum, he encountered Mars - who had taken his mother Johanna hostage - and battled her in an effort to protect Lake Verity from the Galactic Bomb. Despite the lake not being blown up, Mesprit was awakened and captured. As a result, Diamond managed to sneak on to Mars' airship (at the cost of being separated from Tru and Kit) and head towards Team Galactic's base, disguising himself as a Team Galactic Grunt in order to find out what Cyrus is planning.

Platinum arc

As of this chapter, it is stated that both him and Pearl are trying to find the legendary Pokémon at Charon's notebook that he left during the ending of the Diamond and Pearl Chapter. In Volume 11, he was stabbed in the stomach by Giratina's Shadow Force and sent to the Distortion World, where he encountered Cyrus. The two managed to free Dialga and Palkia, who helped defeat Giratina and Charon. At the end, Cyrus disbanded Team Galactic and thanked Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum before leaving.

Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire arc

Diamond and Pearl appeared briefly in ORAS Chapter 16. Palmer told the two they were going to stay indoors.
