The Dream Ball (
: ドリームボール,
: Dream Ball) is a Poké Ball introduced in Generation V. Prior to Generation VIII, it was only usable within the Dream World and Pokémon from the Dream Radar.
Appearance
The appearance of the Dream Ball is similar to that of Musharna. It has a pink and dark pink pattern on top of the capsule and a misty purple and white on the bottom half of the capsule.
Catch rate
Generation V
Like the Master Ball and Park Ball, it never fails to catch a Pokémon. It can only be used in the Entree Forest in the Entralink. Its distinctive pattern marks that the Pokémon within was caught in the Dream World, not in the wild. Unlike the Park Ball and Master Ball, if the Dream Ball is somehow used in the wild it will fail.
Generation VIII
When used on a sleeping Pokémon, it has a catch rate modifier of x4. Otherwise, it has a catch rate modifier of x1.
