The Pokétch Co. president is a minor character in Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl.

The president's son, Landis, took the heroes to his father's factory. The president apologized for his son's rash behavior (for having taken the fake Pokétch and flushing it just to prove his point). Aware that Dawn had a fake Pokétch in her possession, he showed some of his new products, to measure the bonds between Trainers and Pokémon. Testing it on Ash and Pikachu, and Brock and Croagunk, the president saw they had close bonds. However, Dawn and Piplup were in shock that the machine showed they had weak bonds. While his son and Dawn argued, the president let them know that Officer Jenny was working on the case to find the fake Pokétches. Later, the president and his son regrouped with the heroes, finding out that Team Rocket was selling the fake Pokétches. To defeat them, the president had his son's Shinx use Spark on Pikachu to restore its power and defeat Team Rocket. Upon their defeat, the president gave Dawn the new Pokétch.[1]
While on their way to Hearthome City, Ash recalled the events with the Pokétch Co. president.[2]
