Conner McKnight is the Red Dino Ranger and leader of the Dino Rangers.
Retroactively, he is also referred to as the Dino Thunder Red Ranger or Red Dino Thunder Ranger though these are in reference to the show, as opposed to proper labels. History
Dino Thunder
Day of the Dino
Conner was a soccer player at Reefside High School. He also played on a local club team. He found the Red Dino Gem when he was in detention along with Kira Ford and Ethan James. Their science teacher, Tommy Oliver, told them that if they found anything prehistoric, he would cancel detention for the rest of the week. Conner picked up the Red Dino Gem while Kira and Ethan picked up the Yellow and Blue ones respectively. The Red Dino Gem bonded with Conner's DNA, giving him the ability of super-speed.
After this, Kira was kidnapped by Mesogog, which forced Conner and Ethan to tell Tommy that they had taken the Dino Gems. Kira escaped from Mesogog's lab and met up with Conner, Ethan, and Tommy.
Later, the Dinozords were wreaking havoc on the city. Tommy gave the Red Dino Morpher to Conner, while he gave the Yellow and Blue Morphers to Kira and Ethan. Conner became the Red Dino Ranger and tamed the Tyrannozord. As the Red Ranger, he controlled the Tyrannozord, as well as wielding the Tyranno Staff and Thundermax Saber in combat.
Doubts
Conner once thought of quitting because his duties as a Ranger conflicted with his tryouts for a professional soccer team. Conner decided to do one last mission as a Ranger. In this mission, Conner saved a little girl from a Tyrannodrone. After the battle, she gave him a hug and told him "thank you." This inspired Conner to continue his duties as a Ranger.

Back in Black
After Tommy had been kidnapped by Mesogog, Conner, Kira, and Ethan learned of the previous Rangers history, as well as Hayley helping Tommy in the creation of the Dino Morphers. Hayley then revealed the Raptor Cycles to the Rangers, as they would have to reach 526 miles per hour to reach the invisiportal without being destroyed. The Rangers rescued Tommy, who, in the process, made off with a mysterious power source. The rock was revealed to encase the Black Dino Gem which Tommy used to become the Black Dino Ranger. Next Level of Power
Conner was the first Dino Ranger to activate the Super Dino Mode enhancements on his suit during a fierce battle with the then-evil White Dino Ranger. It was Conner's sheer determination to win against the White Ranger that made him able to unlock the Super Dino Mode. When he first unlocked it, he could only use it for a short amount of time, but as he grew stronger as a Ranger, his abilities with that enhancement increased and limitations decreased.
In "Leader of the Whack", a strange meteor crashed on Earth. The meteor had the power to unleash a person's reprised personality side. For Conner, it was a side of intelligence.
In "Lost & Found in Translation", Conner and Kira find Ethan watching TV late at night in the Cyberspace Cafe and come across a Japanese show about their exploits. While Kira and Ethan are excited by Japan's portrayal of the Power Rangers, Conner is disgusted. Later though, he warms up to it. He also used the theme for his class paper as he said he compared the way they see us to the way we see ourselves.
Triassic Ranger
Due to a brutal defeat from the White Terrorsaurus and the White Dino Ranger Clone, Tommy and Trent began to unleash the Shield of Triumph which was hidden in a waterfall. Conner kept feeling a calling from the shield. Conner showed up just in time to claim the Shield of Triumph. For the Shield to assume full power, each Dino Ranger had to contribute a part of themselves. After Trent made his contribution to the shield, Tommy then made his, followed by Kira and Ethan (who would sometimes have to keep contributing their power to Conner,) Conner then used it to become the Triassic Ranger. After morphing, this shield acts as the Triassic Ranger's weapon and gives him the ability to travel into another dimension known as the "The Triassic Dimension". After Conner gained his Triassic powers, Hayley discovered the Mezodon Dinozord and then created the Triassic Megarover. The Mezodon pulls the Triassic Megarover as its chariot. Together, they are called Mezodon Rover. The two can also combine to create the Mezodon Megazord.
Conner's Passion
After meeting his love interest Krista, Conner was able to unlock the final stage of his Dino Powers. Conner begins to doubt his dedication when Krista is willing to do whatever it takes to fight for her cause. Krista was kidnapped by Zeltrax and her life was in danger. Conner remembered a speech from Tommy about passion. After unleashing Super Dino Mode and morphing into the Triassic Ranger on his own, he unlocked the Battlizer and became the Battlized Triassic Ranger. The Battlized Mode gives Conner super-stretch arms and legs, a small Mezodon-faced shield, another shield-like armor piece for his opposite arm which looks like a tail, lightning fast agility, a dragon yo-yo attack, and shoulder cannons which can fire massive amounts of energy at his enemies, often destroying them. He defeated Zeltrax, sending the villain into hiding.
The Last Day of the Dino
In the episode "Thunder Struck Part 2", Conner, like his fellow Rangers, sacrificed his Dino Gem powers to save the Earth from the Mesomonster. After this, he lost all of his powers except his T-Rex Speed abilities, which were bonded with his DNA.
At the end of Dino Thunder, Conner finally hooks up with Krista and takes her to the High School prom. He later goes on to start his own soccer camp. In 20 years, he will have become famous for his soccer camps all over the country.
S.P.D.
Meeting S.P.D. Rangers
At his 1-year high school reunion, Conner is brought to the future by Broodwing where he and his fellow Rangers rejects Broodwing's alliance proposal, recovers their Dino Gems and escape while they are chase by several Krybots.
After they destroy the Krybots, they're attacked and confronted by Broodwing, who again offers an alliance that Conner, Kira, and Ethan once again rejects, until the B-Squad shows up to protect these civilians from Broodwing's attack. After Broodwing withdraws, the B-Squad introduce themselves as the Power Rangers, but the trio reveal that they're the Power Rangers.
Conner and the other Dino Rangers are given a grand tour of the Delta Base, during the tour Conner gets interested in the S.P.D. Pink Ranger Syd and are introduced to Doggie and Kat. The Dino Rangers are determined to help against Broodwing, but the S.P.D. Rangers insist that it's too risky.
Seeing in the screen the difficult battle that pass B-Squad against a Krybots army the Dino Rangers insist on helping, but Cruger says if anything should happen to them, this future might not exist.
Despite Cruger's warning, the Dino Rangers show up anyway to help the S.P.D Rangers in the battle. Fortunately, Dr. Kat, searching their Morphers in the S.P.D. database and regenerated them.
All nine Power Rangers morph into their Ranger forms and using their respective power ups, during the battle. Conner teams up with Jack leading an ambush backed by the S.W.A.T. Command Truck piloted by Doggie Cruger, the two Red Rangers giving a pass to this, easily destroy the Krybots, Blue-Head Krybots and Orange-Head Krybots army. After they destroy the Krybot army, Conner and Jack running to help Cruger against Gruumm attacking with their blasters.
The Dino Rangers assemble the Z-Rex Blaster and send Gruumm running. All ten of the Power Rangers come together to celebrate their victory over Gruumm.
Kira, Ethan, and Conner want to stay and help out, but the S.P.D. Rangers convince them that they will go on to lead exciting and significant lives. After that, Conner, Ethan, and Kira have their memories wiped and are sent to the past in order to prevent them from knowing too much about their futures. TV STORY-History
Second encounter with S.P.D. Rangers
Later (or earlier to the Dino Rangers, right after Conner gained his Triassic powers and before Zeltrax disappeared again during the course of the Dino Thunder series), Gruumm made his temporal trip from the wormhole. At Reefside High, Conner after a soccer game, he joins the conversation of Kira, Trent, and Ethan listening about Ethan's video game. When he, Trent, Kira, and Ethan witness a spaceship hovering over the school.
Conner and the other Dino Rangers go into the woods talking about the strange Space Ship that appears in the sky until Zeltrax with some Tyrannodrones interrupts the conversation, the four Dino Rangers prepare to fight against him. However, Conner like the other Dino Rangers witness that Gruumm's Space Ship transports Zeltrax away in the ship, walking in the woods with more questions about what happened with Zeltrax after he is transported in the Space Ship until they see another ship. Later meeting Jack, Z, and Bridge. Conner listening about the mission of the S.P.D. Rangers came to defeat Emperor Gruumm, when they detected Troobian energy in Reefside, Conner and the other Dino Rangers decided to join them due to that Zeltax also joins forces with Gruumm, implying that it is also his and their fight.
Meeting again with Jack and Bridge, immediately Conner and the other Rangers sees the fight with Tommy against Zeltrax. However, an army of Tyrannodrones and Krybots appear before them, led by a Vine Monster, a Green Monster and a Spotty-Eyed Monster, everyone morphed into their Ranger forms and fight against the monster army.
Fortunately, reinforcements meaning more Rangers like Sam, Syd, Sky, and Doggie appear in the battle but are surrounded by Krybots and Tyrannodrones. Despite not being too many, the Rangers decide not to give up and fight.
Conner and Jack team up again destroying some Krybots, until several more Krybots led by Vine Monster attack them. Conner and Jack immediately turned into their Battlizers, Cyber Mode and Triassic Ranger respectfully, easily destroyed several Krybots and Tyrannodrones after they destroyed the foot soldiers. Conner and Jack made a synchronized attack, with their swords making a Slash attack, as a result made great damage to the Vine monster. Conner and Jack seizing the opportunity, Conner turned into his Triassic Battlizer, like Jack who turned into his Sonic Mode combining his finishers, destroying the Vine Monster.
Later, he joins his team when forming the Z-Rex Blaster to help the S.P.D. Rangers and their Canine Cannon on a final blast against the army.
Following their victory, Conner had his memory erased by the S.P.D. Rangers to not interfere with the timeline. TV STORY-Wormhole

Emperor Mavro was defeated, but the remaining thousands of X Borgs still stand. Tommy gathered all the existing Power Rangers, Conner returned with his fellow Dino Rangers and his powers somehow fully restored, while Dr. O fought with his old team as the Green Mighty Morphin Power Ranger, as part of the army of Legendary Rangers led by Dr. O that helped the Mega Rangers defeat the Armada once and for all, fighting in a huge battle against hundreds of X Borgs and dozens of Bruisers. After the demise of the X Borgs, Tommy shook hands with Troy and teleported off along with Conner and the Legendary Rangers. TV STORY-Legendary Battle
Beast Morphers
Conner is one of the Dino Rangers that respond to Jason's signal and returns from a portal alongside Kira and Ethan joining the fight as part of the Legendary Dino Rangers army. When after the rest of the Rangers turned into their Ranger forms, Conner along with the other Dino Rangers fight against Goldar Maximus, Snide, Robo Blaze, Robo Roxy, and his several foot soldiers.
Conner and Tyler lead by Jason attacks several numbers of Putty Patrollers, Triptoids, Vivix, and Tronics.
He later proceeds with his teammates Kira and Ethan in their Super Dino Modes, combine their weapons forming the Z-Rex Blaster and destroying Snide.
When the battle seemed won, the Legendary Dino Rangers combine all their weapons into the Dino Power Ultra Blaster and manage to destroy Goldar Maximus.
Evox arrives and says that the real fight begins now. Conner witness seeing how Evox is using the geode to summon his newest Zord, the Chimera Zord. He and the other Dino Rangers are attacked by the evil Zord. The Legendary Dino Rangers summon their respective Zords. All three Megazords try to fight against the Chimera Zord, but it proves to be too powerful for them, Devon manages to summon the Beast-X King Zord and join in the fight. Devon and the Dino Charge Rangers combine their Zords into the Dino Charge Megazord Beast-X King Formation. With the combined might of all three Megazords, the Ranger teams combine their blasts into one powerful energy beam, destroying the Chimera Zord as Evox retreats.
With the fight over, the Ranger teams regroup in the quarry, with the Dino Charge Rangers regaining their Energems and Keeper regaining his staff. Conner, Kira, and Ethan note that Evox is not done yet, but just like the rest, they trust that the Grid Battleforce Rangers can handle Evox. Afterwards, the Mighty Morphin and Dino Thunder Rangers return to their dimension. TV STORY-Grid Connection
Dino Fury
Zayto activates the Legendary Ranger Database, showing Master Blue that Master Green came to them after the Dinohenge statues were destroyed and restored them to normal. Also, Zayto says that he found Ranger teams who were saved in their darkest moments through unexplained reasons and shows them three specific moments. Including the Legendary Battle where all the Legendary Rangers including Conner and the other Dino Rangers coming to the aid of the Megaforce Rangers in the Legendary Battle and helping them defeat an entire army of the Armada's X Borgs. Once & Always
Following the return of Rita Repulsa in a new robotic body, Conner was among the Rangers that responded to the Bandora Protocol issued by the Mighty Morphin team after groups of Putties started appearing all over the world. Conner was later ensnared, captured by Snizzard and used to power Robo-Rita's time portal alongside several other Rangers, including his teammate Trent. Once the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers destroyed Snizzard, Conner and the other Rangers were released and brought to the S.P.A.'s med-bay for recovery before traveling to Aquitar, where the Aquitians would fix him up. Personality
Conner is not the smartest Ranger on his team, actually, he's constantly labeled a 'dumb jock' by his fellow Ranger, Ethan James, with whom he shared a mild rivalry earlier on in the season. At first, he seems to fit the stereotype as he comes off as arrogant and self-centered. However, he is actually a very well-meaning and honest person who always does the right thing in the end despite his faults. Around the time his relationship with Ethan became more friendly, Trent Fernandez-Mercer gained the White Ranger powers. Conner quickly developed a very intense rivalry with Trent. At first, the two were on opposing sides and engaged in raging fights with each other. Even after Trent joined the team, Conner was still very distrusting and uncomfortable around him until Trent saved his life in battle with a monster. Conner's main interest was playing soccer and he aspired to be a famous soccer star, this sometimes clashed with his Ranger duties but he quickly learned to put his responsibility to save people and the well being of others over his own needs.

- Superhuman Strength: Conner possesses superhuman physical strength, due to his Ranger powers and is able to life heavy objects.
- T-Rex Speed: Due to the Red Dino Gem, Conner has the power to move and react at superhuman speeds. This includes his physical speed, reaction time, and reflexes. His maximum speed is unknown, but somewhere along the regions of the speed of sound. When using his powers, everything in normal motion appears to slow down to his perspective, while he accelerates to his opponent's.

- Skilled Fighter: Conner is a capable fighter and is able to hold himself in battle. His fighting skills are on the same level as Ethan and Kira, but still inferior to that ones of Tommy and Trent. He was even capable of handling his own against both Elsa and Zeltrax as shown in "Back in Black".

- Humans Weakness: Despite his supernatural power, Conner is still human and have many of the same weaknesses as human beings (e.g. mortality, age, overexertion, disease, etc.)

Super Dino Mode is an ability to the Red Dino Ranger eventually utilize. By drawing energy from his Dino Gem, they go through an almost feral transformation. His helmet roars, the patterns on his suit transform into spiked armor, and their strength increases greatly.

Triassic Ranger
The Triassic Ranger is a power-up mode used by the Red Dino Ranger, formed by the Blue and Yellow Rangers (Kira and Ethan) giving their power to him temporarily. He was eventually able to use this without borrowing other Rangers' powers. His suit color changes from red and white to red with gold, yellow, and blue accents. Gold embroider added to the helmet, Gold shoulder pads, and he also gains physical strength to throw giant-sized monsters (with one hand).

The Triassic Battlizer is used by the Red Dino Ranger. Conner was doubting his abilities as a Ranger until Tommy encouraged him to break free from such negative thoughts. His newly gained confidence resulted in him activating his Battlizer with only his sheer will power. Conner used the Battlizer for the last time against Mesogog in the final battle in Thunder Struck, but chronologically used it one last time in Wormhole, the suit is an armed Torso Armor w/ Mezodon bracers and shin armor, Super-stretch arms and legs.

Legendary Ranger Devices
The Red Dino Ranger Key is Conner's personal Ranger Key. This key along with the majority of the Core Ranger Keys are seen lining the Command Center's interior walls. This key is mainly used by Troy Burrows (Super Megaforce Red) who uses it to fight as the Red Dino Ranger.
