Hyakuju Gattai GaoMuscle

Hyakuju Gattai GaoMuscle (百獣合体ガオマッスル, Hyakujū Gattai GaoMassuru), also called the Muscular Warrior (筋肉の戦士, Kinniku no Senshi), is the combination of GaoGorilla, GaoBear and GaoPolar, GaoBison, and GaoEagle.

Overview

GaoMuscle originally served as a replacement for GaoKing while GaoLion was badly injured. It wields an anchor and chain, called the Muscle Anchor (マッスルアンカー, Massuru Ankā), and two shoulder cannons called the Muscle Crackers (マッスルクラッカー, Massuru Kurakkā). Its attacks include the Muscle Bear Hug (マッスルベアハッグ, Massuru Bea Haggu) technique, the Ice Fang Blaze: Bear Strike (氷牙炎滅ベアーストライク, Hyōga Enmetsu: Beā Sutoraiku) (which unlike GaoLion, GaoGorilla is able to use without the debilitating aftereffects), and its finishing move Unmatched Strength: Muscle Lariat (剛力無双マッスルラリアット, Gōriki Musō: Massuru Rariatto), where it strikes with energized punches from both arms.

Its suit actor was Hirofumi Fukuzawa (福沢博文, Fukuzawa Hirofumi), who also portrayed GaoRed and GaoHunter.

History

Soul Bird Quest

GaoMuscle was first formed after GaoGorilla awakened during the Gaorangers Quest to find the Shining Mushroom to help GaoLion. It first battled Bulldozer Org who tried to knock down GaoMuscle but the new Robo's strength and durability was too great for even the Baron Org, GaoMuscle was able to beat Bulldozer Org quickly with the Muscle Lariat attack. TV STORY-Quest 10: The Moon Beckons!!

GaoMuscle was summoned again to battle Samurai Doll Org, at first GaoMuscle was no match for the Baron Org's swordsmanship and was ultimately knocked down by Samurai Doll Org's Full Moon Cut attack. Before the Org could finish off GaoMuscle, GaoTiger came to save GaoMuscle and the Gaorangers by breaking Samurai Doll Org's katana and knocking him down with her claws, GaoMuscle got back up and used the Muscle Anchor to knock Samurai Doll Org down then finishing him off with the Muscle Lariat attack. GaoMuscle was resummoned to battle Copy Org, at first GaoMuscle was having trouble when Copy Org started throwing his Copy Paper Scraps and then wrapped by a large sheet of paper and exploded by Copy Org's Copy Paper Detonators, but GaoMuscle was rescued by GaoElephant and GaoGiraffe and was able to get out of the paper bind, after breaking free GaoMuscle used the Muscle Anchor to bash at Copy Org then beat the Org for good with the Muscle Lariat attack. Final Battle with Shuten

GaoMuscle was summoned to fight Freezer Org during Shuten's attack on the city and finished off the Org quickly with the Muscle Lariat attack, before being destroyed Freezer Org was powered up by Shuten after absorbing the power from GaoMuscle's attack, GaoMuscle tried to attack Freezer Org again with the Bison Kick attack but Freezer Org grabbed GaoMuscle by the foot and began to swing him around then threw him but GaoMuscle was able to land on it's feet and used the Muscle Bear Hugattack to try and beat Freezer Org, ultimately GaoMuscle was frozen by Freezer Org after he sacrificed himself which also took the Gaorangers powers. After the Gaorangers powers were restored GaoMuscle was summoned to fight Shuten, at first GaoMuscle's attacks proved powerless against Shuten and was knocked down after being blasted by Shuten's eye beam. After the Soul Bird matured, GaoMuscle was powered up and was able to knock down Shuten with one judo throw, before the battle could escalate the Gaorangers swapped out GaoMuscle for GaoKing. Gaoranger vs. Super Sentai

GaoMuscle was summoned to battle Lost Highness Duke Org Rakushaasa after he turned giant, GaoMuscle tried to fight but was no match for the Highness Duke Org's power and was slowly being crushed and was de-combined after being hit by several attacks. Rouki Unleashed

GaoMuscle was summoned to help fight Rouki's Demon Beasts but was ultimately knocked away by attacks from all three Demon Beasts, before the battle could continue Rouki and his Demon Beasts left. TV STORY-Quest 16: The Magic Flute Roars!!

GaoMuscle was re-summoned to fight Bike Org, GaoMuscle was able to hurt Bike Org with several jabs and punches then finished Bike Org off with the Muscle Lariat. After Bike Org's defeat GaoMuscle fought against GaoHunter, during the battle GaoMuscle landed a few punches on GaoHunter and tried to use the Muscle Lariat to beat GaoHunter but GaoHunter used GaoLigator's jaws to catch the attack and throw GaoMuscle to the other side of the battle field, GaoMuscle then used the Bear Strike attack whenGaoHunter used the Beast Hurricane attack but the clash from both attacks caused both Robo's to be knocked down and de-combine. GaoSilver

GaoMuscle was summoned this time as GaoMuscle Striker to fight Vase Org, GaoMuscle proved to be a powerful combination first hitting Vase Org with the Striker Bomber attack then finishing off the Org with the Strong Kick Blast: Rhino Shoot attack. TV STORY-Quest 27: The Chick Pouts

GaoMuscle Striker was summoned to fight Tombstone Org, GaoMuscle Striker tried to use the Bear Strike attack against the Org only for it to be swatted away, GaoMuscle Striker then GaoMuscle Striker used the Rhino Shoot attack only for GaoMadillo to be batted back at them by the Org knocking down GaoMuscle Striker and began to be pummeled by the Org, GaoMuscle Striker then used the Muscle Crackers to fire at the Org knocking him back then used the Muscle Anchor to tie up the Org, in a last ditch effort GaoMuscle grabbed Tombstone Org and performed by jumped both into the sky to try and destroy the Org by slamming him into the ground from the air, the impact from the fall casued GaoMuscle Striker to de-combine. Appearance of the third Highness Duke Org and GaoGod's return

GaoMuscle Striker was summoned to help fight Animal Tamer Org and a brainwashed GaoKing, at first GaoMuscle Striker's strength was greater compared to GaoKing but was thrown to the other side of the battlefield by a judo throw performed by GaoKing. As the battle continued GaoMuscle was attacked by GaoElephant and GaoGiraffe which were summoned by GaoLion, GaoMuscle was then hit by GaoKing Sword & Shield using a revolving slash attack, then GaoMuscle was attack by the Neck Thrust attack performed by the newly formed GaoKing Spear & Shield which wounded GaoMuscle, GaoMuscle then combined with GaoDeers to form GaoMuscle Striker Crosshorn and tried to use the Deers Healing but was stopped by GaoShark and hit with more blows from GaoKing Spear & Shield, GaoMuscle was beaten by a combination of GaoTiger's claw striked and the newly formed GaoKing Spear & Knuckle's Bear Strike attack and GaoKing Lariat attack, after the Gaorangers were knocked out of GaoMuscle's cockpit Animal Tamer Org used his whip to brainwash GaoMuscle and used both Robo's to attack GaoHunter and knocked the Robo Down with the Bear Strike attack alongside GaoKing Spear & Knuckle, GaoMuscle Striker alongside GaoKing Sword & Shield attacked the Gaorangers but were stopped by Futaro who was able to release both Robo's from Animal Tamer Org's control, after being freed both Robo's attacked Animal Tamer Org with GaoMuscle using the Muscle Lariat attack before the Gaorangers summoned GaoIcarus. GaoMuscle was summoned alongside GaoHunter in their final battle with Rasetsu, Both Robo's were hit by a powerful steam blast and flame blast by Rasetsu, GaoMuscle used the Muscle Lariat attack which knocked back rasetsu, GaoMuscle was called back so that the Gaorangers could summon GaoKentaurus. GaoMuscle was summoned alongside GaoHunter to fight New year's Org, Both Robo's were knocked back by a blow from the Org but were able to strike him when ne left an opening with GaoMuscle using the Muscle Crackers, then both Robo's finished off New Year's Org with a combined attack of Bear Strike and Beast Hurricane. TV STORY-Quest 46: The New Year Attacks

GaoMuscle Striker was summoned to fight Steam Engine Org after GaoKing was knocked down, the Org proved to be stronger than GaoMuscle in frute force and was knocked back by a kick from Steam Engine Org but GaoMuscle was caught by GaoHunter, gaoMuscle Striker used the Rhino Shoot attack but it was knocked away by Steam Engine Org, GaoMuscle Striker formed GaoMuscle Striker Spear to assist GaoHunter by hitting the Org with the Neck Thrust attack which proved somewhat effective, but ultimately both Robo's were beaten by the Org's brute force and flame blast. TV STORY-Quest 47: The Steam Engine Roars!

GaoMuscle Striker was summoned to fight Senki who had appeared on the Animarium to destroy the Power Animals, GaoMuscle Striker used a series of attacks first using the Bear Strike and then the Muscle Lariat against Senki which knocked him back but proved ineffective, GaomUscle Striker was hit by a series of slashes from Senki's sword and was knocked down, GaoMuscle was rescued by GaoElephant GaoGiraffe and GaoDeers who simultaneously attack Senki and paralyzed him, with an opening GaoMuscle Striker used the Rhino Shoot attack which made him explode into goo, when Senki revived GaoMuscle Striker tried to attack but was hit and held by a laser fired by Senki's sword and thrown into the air exploding and being destroyed. "Hyakuju Fusion! GaoMuscle Striker!" GaoMuscle Striker (ガオマッスルストライカー, GaoMassuru Sutoraikā): First used in Episode 27 by having GaoRhinos & GaoMajiro replace GaoBison and GaoEagle as GaoMuscle's lower torso. It was formed after Vase Org trapped GaoKing and GaoHunter Justice in another dimension. Attacks with Strong Kick Blast: Rhino Shoot (強蹴爆砕ライノシュート, Kyōshū Bakusai: Raino Shūto) finisher and Striker Bomber attack.

Striker Cross Horn

GaoMuscle Striker Cross Horn (ガオマッスルストライカークロスホーン, GaoMassuru Sutoraikā Kurosu Hōn): Used only in Episode 38 by having GaoDeers replace GaoBear in the GaoMuscle Striker formation. Attempted to use Deers' healing powers to free GaoKing Spear and Knuckle from Animal Tamer Org's control but was stopped by GaoShark and GaoTiger and eventually was taken over after the Gaorangers were driven out of the cockpit.

Striker Spear

"Hyakuju Armament! GaoMuscle Striker Spear!" GaoMuscle Striker Spear (ガオマッスルストライカースピアー, GaoMassuru Sutoraikā Supiā): Used only in Episode 47 against Steam Engine Org by having GaoGiraffe replace GaoPolar in the GaoMuscle Striker formation though it wasn't successful and was easily defeated.

GaoMuscle Shark & Tiger (ガオマッスルシャーク＆タイガー, GaoMassuru Shāku ando Taigā) / GaoCracker (ガオクラッカー, GaoKurakkā): It is where GaoShark and GaoTiger could replace GaoBear and GaoPolar in the GaoMuscle formation. While the official art book lists this formation as GaoMuscle Shark & Tiger, many resources call this formation GaoCracker. Although there was an official picture in the Super Sentai Robo Art Collection, it never appeared on the show.
