Koda is a caveman who became the Dino Charge Blue Ranger, the second member of the Dino Charge Rangers in Power Rangers Dino Charge and Power Rangers Dino Super Charge. He is also referred to as Blue Ranger and, in roll calls, as Stegosaurus Power Ranger Blue.
After being frozen in time upon bonding with the Blue Energem during the Pleistocene Era, he outlived everyone from his time due to the fact that bonding with the Energem essentially granted him biological immortality.
During the episode Freaky Fightday, Koda temporary body swapped with Chase, becoming during this time the Dino Charge Black Ranger. He is also referred to as Black Ranger and, in roll calls, as Parasaur Power Ranger Black.
Two years later, he returned in Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel along with other Legendary Rangers, helping the Ninja Steel Rangers against Lord Draven and his army of Robo Rangers.
During the events of Power Rangers Beast Morphers Season 2, Koda and the other Dino Charge Rangers return to help the Grid Battleforce Rangers rescue Keeper from Evox and his evil Army. Later lead by Jason Lee Scott the original Red Ranger, Koda forms part of the Legendary Dino Rangers against Goldar Maximus and his Army of Foot Soldiers.

Zoey is confident they can handle him before thanking everybody for their help, the teams departed and said goodbye to the Dino Charge Rangers. TV STORY-Grid Connection
Personality
Being a caveman frozen in time, Koda is significantly behind his teammates in terms of etiquette; he eats with his fingers, doesn't like to wear shoes (though he'll usually wear sandals when he's outside of the base), and sees no benefit in combing his hair. He isn't the smartest Ranger, but he's got a heart of gold, is fiercely loyal, and is as strong as an ox. He generally views his fellow Rangers as his new family. His survival instincts are sharper than any other Ranger. [1] At first, he was afraid of a lot of modern technology that he was unfamiliar with, including the Dino Cycles. He later overcame some of this fear and began learning to ride a tricycle as well as overcame his trauma from being iced again.
Non-Ranger powers and abilities
Powers
- Longevity without Aging: Koda's bond with the Blue Energem has granted him nigh-immortality.
Abilities
- Enhanced Strength: Compared with modern humans, Koda has greater muscle mass and therefore possesses greater strength than his teammates. This is implied to be further augmented by the Blue Energem, but is a trait he already has.
- Instinct: What Koda lacks in modern sensibilities, he makes up for with his animal-keen senses and survival instincts.
Weaknesses
- Primitive Humanity: As a caveman, Koda remains vulnerable to the same weaknesses as his descendant teammates (especially when demorphed), along with a significantly stronger "fight-or-flight" reflex that sees him reacting to unfamiliar things in unexpected ways.
- Lack of Functional Intelligence: At surface level, Koda does not come across as smart. Primitive humans did not have books or kitchenware, for instance. Koda also has a hard time adjusting to modern conveniences that most of his teammates take for granted.
Former weaknesses
- Multiple Phobias: Being something of a fish out of water, Koda was naturally afraid of modern conveniences. Also, because he was frozen in ice, Koda exhibited severe frigophobia; but both subsided with time.
