The Heart O' Texas Fair Complex, now known as the Extraco Events Center, is located in Waco, Texas. The Coliseum was originally constructed following a controversial bond vote in the early 1950s. Following the completion of construction it became a focal point venue for the Waco Area.
Such events includes a yearly livestock show and rodeo, The Heart O' Texas Fair & Rodeo, which takes place annually in October.This is the largest attraction of the venue each year often drawing crowds of thousands. It has also frequently hosted the Ringling Brothers Circus, WWE Monday Night RAW, Monster Trucks and concerts from major musical acts. And from its inception until 1988 it was the home court of the Baylor Bears men's and women's basketball teams.
