The GCW Extreme Championship is a professional wrestling championship promoted by Game Changer Wrestling (GCW). The title was originally introduced as the JCW Extreme Championship, but was renamed after the promotion's rebranding in June 2015.
History
The GCW Extreme Championship was introduced into Jersey Championship Wrestling as the JCW Extreme Championship. Bandido Jr. became the inaugural champion after winning an eight-man tournament. In June 2015, Jersey Championship Wrestling was sold to new owners, and the company was rebranded as Game Changer Wrestling (GCW). As a result, the championship was re-named the GCW Extreme Championship.
