The NWA United States Heavyweight Championship was a championship defended primarily in the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA).
In 1991 when World Championship Wrestling (WCW) separated from the NWA, the NWA United States Heavyweight Championship was reinvented in WCW as the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship and the NWA title was vacated.
