November 8, 1998 WWE Heat results

The November 8th, 1998 Edition of Heat is a Professional wrestling television show of the WWF, which took place at multiple venues in Texas.

Recap

The show opens with a match between Too Much and Bob Holly & Scorpio, who Al Snow introduces as the "J.O.B. Squad". Holly gets the pinfall win over Scott Taylor and the victory is sold as something unscripted when the referee hesitatingly counting to 3 and Brian Christopher looks confused.

Kevin Kelly has a backstage interview with Val Venis about his reaction to Terri Runnels' pregnancy announcement. Venis claims to have had a vasectomy and therefore isn't the father.

X-Pac was set to take on Steve Regal, but the Undertaker and Paul Bearer come to ringside instead. X-Pac demands an explanation and Undertaker responds by chokeslamming him.

In the parking lot Gerald Brisco, Pat Patterson, and Sgt. Slaughter (with an arm cast) welcome Vince McMahon's limo.

Next, the Godfather refuses to offer any Hos to Marc Mero due to Mero's history with women. Godfather wins the match with a Pimp Drop. This was Shane McMahon's first match as a referee and as such the camera cut back to Vince McMahon and his cronies backstage for snarky commentary. After the match, Jacqueline slaps the Godfather then high-tails it.

A retired Owen Hart jumps on commentary for a match between Jeff Jarrett & Droz. Droz wins the match by disqualification after Hawk runs in and attacks him. Animal makes the save and together LOD 2000 give the Doomsday Device to Hawk.
