Dr. Julia Gálvez Delgado is an openly transgender pediatric anesthesiologist at Boston Children's Hospital, specializing in pediatric perioperative clinical informatics. Her professional journey commenced at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where she assumed leadership positions within the Biomedical Informatics Program and the Pennsylvania Pediatric Medical Device Consortium. Subsequently, Dr. Gálvez Delgado held the esteemed positions of Division Chief and Vice Chair of Pediatric Anesthesiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center before joining Boston Children's. Beyond a steadfast commitment to clinical excellence, Dr. Gálvez Delgado's professional focus extends to the advancement of health delivery equity and inclusion, particularly within the realm of gender-affirming care. Specialized interests include the optimization of pediatric perioperative informatics, and she is resolute in contributing to a healthcare landscape that seamlessly integrates technological advancement with social inclusivity.

Dr. Simpao is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. He is a pediatric and maternal-fetal anesthesiologist and clinical informatician who serves as the Associate Chief for Research in the Division of General Anesthesiology, Director of the Biomedical Informatics Program in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine, and Associate Director of Anesthesia Services at CHOP's King of Prussia Hospital. His scholarly focus is on using informatics and analytics to understand and improve pediatric and maternal-fetal perioperative care. Rita Agarwal, M.D., is Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology, Stanford, President Society for Pediatric Pain Medicine, Past Chair American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Section on Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
Dr. Agarwal went to medical school at Baylor College of Medicine, where she also did her residency. Her fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology was completed at Denver’s Children Hospital. She spent over 20 years at the Children’s Hospital of Colorado where she was the Pediatric Anesthesia Program Director, Director of Pediatric Anesthesia Education, former Acute Pain Service Director. She has been involved with the AAP, the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia, the California Society of Anesthesiology and other national organizations for many years. She now practices at Lucille Packard Hospital Stanford where she is the Chair of the Pediatric Anesthesia Education Committee, and continues to try and learn and teach everyday.

Dr. Barnes is Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Barnes completed his M.D. and M.B.A. at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and Booth School of Business. In 2010 he came to Johns Hopkins as the first combined pediatrics and anesthesia resident. He continued his post-residency training at Johns Hopkins completing pediatric critical care fellowship, pediatric anesthesia fellowship, and advanced pediatric cardiac anesthesia training. His academic focus is on prevention and management of pediatric delirium in the perioperative period. He also has a well-known interest in social media and the impact it has on medicine.
