So much for the American dream!Chu Fook on the way back to Fort Mercer
Chu Fook is a minor character in Red Dead Redemption.
Background
Chu Fook is a Chinese immigrant to the U.S. He lives in New Austin and was forced to join the survivors at Fort Mercer due to the Undead plague.
Interactions
Red Dead Redemption
Chu Fook can usually be found working at El Matadero, or sitting there at the campsite. He can also be found working at Pacific Union R.R. Camp, where he is usually working inside of one of the warehouses. Chu Fook can also be encountered in random event, where he is the treasure hunter, who's trying to get rid of the criminals trying to kill Chu and rob him. The player may help Chu by killing the criminals and receiving the first treasure map from Chu. This will trigger the second rank of the Treasure Hunter Challenges.
Undead Nightmare
He is one of the missing souls in the "Missing Persons" side-missions which John Marston will need to rescue and bring back to Fort Mercer in order to attain 100% completion. Chu can be found in Gaptooth Breach, where he and the miners (if any are still alive) will be attempting to fend off a horde of undead. After Marston kills most of the zombies, Chu will follow Marston onto his horse and ride back to Fort Mercer and safety. In a random encounter, Chu can be found sitting by himself in a small camp, littered with human limbs, bones and heads, and chewing on a human arm, revealing that he is a cannibal. He will invite the player over to his camp, and he will throw away an arm he was eating and pick up a severed head and talk to it. If the player tries to loot his chest, he will get up and shoot at the player.
