But... why snowman...?Snowman Fed's final words in Thin Ice

This unnamed Federal Army soldier is a soldier of the Federal Army of Chorus who was stationed at F.A.C. Outpost 37.

Role in Plot

When Tucker, Simmons, Grif, and Caboose broke into F.A.C. Outpost 37 to rescue their "captured" comrades, this Federal soldier heard them fall into the base. As he came to investigate, he spoke out loud that he was approaching, making the four captains panic. At the last moment, Grif somehow builds four snowmen for the group to hide in, tricking the Fed. The soldier then playfully talked to the snowmen, asking if they were responsible for the noise. However, when he decided to use the snowmen as _target practice, Tucker was forced to kill the soldier using his energy sword. After he died, the four captains hid his corpse by burying it in snow.

Trivia

  • Although this character was left unnamed and had little screen time, he obtained much popularity from fans of the series, calling him Snowman Fed for the scene he was in and even giving him a back story.
  • The Snowman Fed appears to be very dim-witted, as he wasn't only tricked by the captains' disguise, but didn't question the existence of the snowmen and even believed that the snowmen were sentient creatures when he died. Including the fact that he was talking out loud, indicating to the group that someone had heard them and how close he was of spotting them.
  • Miles Luna once said that Snowman Fed's voice was Patrick Rodriguez trying to do an impression of Flowers.
