Higanbana is a village on the continent of Anima.
Description
The town has an inn and a tavern, and is along the road to Mistral City.
History
Team RNJR stops at the inn along their journey to rest. Qrow Branwen watches them from the tavern, and Raven Branwen is there as well to get information from Qrow. She and Qrow talk over current events, quickly dissolving into an argument which eventually causes Raven to leave using her Kindred Link.
Later, Tyrian Callows visits the same inn and asks the Higanbana Waitress about Ruby's location.

Trivia
- Higanbana is the Romanized spelling of the Japanese word for the red spider lily. In Japanese floriography, the meaning behind this flower is "never to meet again", "lost memory" or "abandonment".
- "Abandonment" may refer to Raven, who abandoned Yang, which was brought up in her conversation with Qrow.
- Originally, the inn and tavern in Higanbana were the same building, but they were separated when they couldn't figure out how to fit Raven into the scene.[1]
