The Jungle Acre,[1] also known as the Mouse Acre,[2] is an acre in the Ever After. It is the arrival point of many outsiders to the Ever After, and is the homeland of the Hunter Mice tribe.
History
Before their departure from the Ever After, the Jungle Acre was created by The Gods for the Afterans to inhabit based on their purpose.
When Jaune Arc arrived in the Ever After, he stumbled upon Tick Tock Clearing[3] and picked up one of the clock fruits on it. When he did, he was sent back in time by at least a decade before he smashed the fruit with his weapon to stop it. With no way to return to his original time, Jaune decided to wait for years until Team RWBY arrived in the Ever After as well.
Sometime in the past, the Jungle Acre was where Alyx and Lewis landed into the Ever After. While in this acre, they were attacked by the hostile vines of the acre and met the Hunter Mice tribe.
Description
This acre is filled with lots of colorful flora and fauna and possesses a tropical climate. It features a vibrant yellow sky where the two suns of the Ever After are most visible compared to other acres. The acre is littered with palm trees whose trunks wind around freely. There are many plants of different colors and varieties growing in the jungle, as well as animals, such as the rocking horse-flies and large green birds. Living in the acre is the Hunter Mice, a tribe of mice that includes the Mouse Leader and Little.
At the edge of the Jungle Acre is the shoreline, with deep orange sand with hexagonal patterning. Along the beach are giant shells and six-finned starfish. Beyond the shoreline is an expansive body of orange water.
At the other edge of the acre is a large cliff that gives a full view of the Ever After, obscured by yellow vines.
The Jungle Acre is connected to the King's Acre and the Abandoned Acre.
Plant Life
The Jungle Acre was shown to possess several unique flora in its area, all possessing unique attributes and abilities.
Tick Tock Tree
As shown in the "Confessions Within Cumulonimbus Clouds", a unique plant that resides in the Jungle Acre is a tree made of clockwork. As shown, the tree grows fruit like watches that amazingly possess the ability to influence time. As shown where after Jaune had landed in the Ever After and stumbled upon the tree and picked a fruit, the clock ended up accelerating him back into the past.
Hunting Vines
Within the Jungle, there are also hostile vine like plant life that tangles and captures anyone and anything that touches and aggravates it.
Inhabitants
Inhabitants of this acre include the Mouse Leader and their Hunter Mice tribe, as well as multiple large green shoebill storks.
