Fathi Arafat (Arabic: فتحي عرفات; 11 January 1933 – 1 December 2004) was the founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Palestinian Red Crescent.[1][2][3] He studied medicine at Cairo University. He is the brother of Yasser Arafat, leader of the Palestine Liberation Organization.
