Guðni Th. Jóhannesson

President of Iceland (2016-2024)

Guðni Thorlacius Jóhannesson (born June 26, 1968) is an independent politician who was the President of Iceland. He became president on August 1 2016.[1] His term ended on August 1, 2024. Guðni holds a PhD in history from Queen Mary University of London.
