Peyronie's disease

Human disease

Peyronie's Disease is a condition that causes scar tissue to form within penis, which can result in a bend or curvature during an erection. This curvature can cause pain and, in some cases, can cause difficulties with sexual intercourse. The exact cause of Peyronie's Disease is not fully understood, but it is believed to be associated with injury to the penis that does not heal properly.[1]
