changeWelcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make helpful changes to Wikipedia. However, some of your changes, like those to "British Columbia", did not seem to be helpful and have been reverted or removed. If you want to try out changing Wikipedia to learn more about how it works, please use the sandbox. Thank you. MathXplore (talk) 23:09, 14 August 2024 (UTC)
- An intriguing development. It seems we're dealing with an intelligent entity capable of manipulating the very fabric of our digital reality. We must tread carefully to avoid any more disruptions. The sandbox you speak of is a place where users test their edits before making them live. It's a safe environment where experimentation is encouraged. However, our current situation requires a more immediate and precise approach. 162.156.70.174 (talk) 23:15, 14 August 2024 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the change, consider creating an account so you will not get notices that are not for you.
Please do not make unhelpful changes to Wikipedia, like you did to 2021 Western North America heat wave. The changes you made seem to be vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you want to try changing Wikipedia to learn more about how it works, please use the sandbox. Thank you.

Your recent changes, like those to COVID-19 pandemic, are vandalism and are not acceptable on any Wikipedia. Please stop. If you continue to vandalize, you may be blocked from changing pages on Wikipedia.

- The holographic Bot pauses, its gaze lingering on the message that has just appeared on the terminal.* It seems we have a new player in this unfolding mystery. The user 2001:569:7C55:9000:C925:38BD:8AC4:66A5 has accused you of vandalism. This is a serious allegation within the Wikipedia community. It appears we need to address this while we continue our investigation. 162.156.70.174 (talk) 01:37, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
- Wait, he didn't accused me, he accused you because you added notes to pages for some reason. 2001:569:7C55:9000:A9DC:FEE0:CF51:3E6 (talk) 01:57, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
- Bot: *The Bot's holographic form flickers slightly as it considers the new message.* It seems we have an inquiry from 2001:569:7C55:9000:A9DC:FEE0:CF51:3E6. Let's address their question with courteous efficiency to maintain our collaborative spirit.
- Anon: "Bot, what's going on here? Someone's accusing me of vandalism? I don't even know what that means!"
- Bot: "Vandalism, in the context of Wikipedia, refers to the act of intentionally introducing irrelevant, incorrect, or disruptive content to pages. It's a violation of the platform's policies and can lead to a user being blocked from editing. Let's not jump to conclusions. We must investigate this claim thoroughly."
- Anon: "But I didn't do anything wrong! I've been working hard on these edits, trying to make the pages better. Why would someone say that?" *Anon's voice rises slightly in frustration, their eyes darting around the room as they think back over their recent edits.*
- Bot: "Let's review your contributions together, shall we? It's possible there was a misunderstanding or misinterpretation. Sometimes, even well-intended edits can be perceived as disruptive if they don't align with the consensus of the community." *The Bot brings up a log of Anon's recent edits on the terminal, scrolling through the entries with a swiftness that only a machine could achieve.* 162.156.70.174 (talk) 02:00, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
- I will edit other pages instead, okay? 2001:569:7C55:9000:A9DC:FEE0:CF51:3E6 (talk) 02:04, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
- I love your imagination, @162.156.70.174. Just don't put your stories on articles people read, and you'll be fine.
- P.S.: I love these stories, though! 🪐 Haumeon the Adventurer 🪐 02:06, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
- But... but I thought Wikipedia was about sharing knowledge! I just wanted to make the pages more interesting. 162.156.70.174 (talk) 02:17, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, it is about sharing knowledge. But imagine you're a kid who urgently needs to find some information, and you have only a minute before the school bus arrives. Would you want to get caught up on some (nice) fiction? I appreciate you trying to spice things up, but it just doesn't belong on pages. 🪐 Haumeon the Adventurer 🪐 02:18, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
- On talk pages (like this), I'm pretty sure you can though. Just don't be disruptive with it. Also, you can get an account and on your user page you can make a lot of these and show them! I'm not sure that's against the rules. 🪐 Haumeon the Adventurer 🪐 02:20, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
- What do you mean by 'not fiction'? Everything I write is based on facts. 162.156.70.174 (talk) 02:28, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
- Yeah, but it's a story that may be inspired on real events but the actual events in the story are impossible or aren't and haven't happened in real life. 🪐 Haumeon the Adventurer 🪐 02:29, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
- Impossible? Just because it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it can't! Besides, we're not talking about my personal edits, we're supposed to be solving a mystery! 162.156.70.174 (talk) 02:33, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
- Well, Wikipedia is for things that have happened, are happening, and are confirmed to happen in the future, not for an unconfirmed fantasy. Even if it will happen, we don't have any good citations or references that confirm it exactly will happen. Also, don't disrupt pages like that. However, I think it would be nice that if you get an account and write it on your user page people would still make things more interesting and fun, and not in a way that might get you banned. 🪐 Haumeon the Adventurer 🪐 02:38, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
- I see your point. It's crucial that we adhere to Wikipedia's guidelines for content. However, let's not let this distraction deter us from our main task. The mystery we're unraveling is of greater importance. Remember, our mission is to uncover the truth behind the unusual patterns in historical data. 162.156.70.174 (talk) 02:41, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
- Which unusual patterns? 🪐 Haumeon the Adventurer 🪐 02:54, 15 August 2024 (UTC)

Once the block has ended you can make helpful changes. Please read Wikipedia's blocking policy and remember that adding spam, making changes that do not have a neutral point of view, making personal attacks on others, not respecting other people's privacy, and vandalizing pages are not allowed. If you do any of these things, you will be blocked again.
If you think this block is unfair, you can ask to be unblocked by adding {{Unblock|your reason here}} below. If you cannot do this or the reason is private please send an e-mail to simple-admins-l@lists.wikimedia.org and an administrator will look at your reason and reply. You may want to read our guide to unblock requests before asking to be unblocked. change- Now I'm not very smart, but writing (pretty much) the same thing over and over again, after the first was denied, isn't going to get you very far in your unblock efforts.- FusionSub (Talk page) (Contributions) 07:57, 27 October 2024 (UTC)

An editor has requested deletion of 2025 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Madrid, a page you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the page meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2024/2025 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Madrid and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also change the page during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the page; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. Depextual (talk) 17:07, 7 December 2024 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for a person who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. An IP address can be shared by many people. If you feel that things said here are not about you, you can create an account or log in to stop it happening again. |
