Manasseh Sogavare

Solomon Islander politician (1955–), prime minister of the Solomon Islands (2000–2001, 2006–2007, 2014–2017, 2019–2024)

Manasseh Damukana Sogavare (born 17 January 1955) was the sixth Prime Minister of Solomon Islands from 24 April 2019 until 2 May 2024. He was the prime minister between 2000–2001, 2006—2007 and 2014–2017. Sogavare has been in the National Parliament since 1997.[1]
