Cyrillic letter

Shcha (Щ щ; italics: Щ щ), Shta or Sha with descender is a letter of the Cyrillic script. It comes from the Glagolitic letter shta (Ⱋ), it sounds like /ɕː/ in Russian, /ʃt͡ʃ/ in Ukrainian and Rusyn, and /ʃt/ in Bulgarian.
