SERVICE: Website redesign, Membership overhaul, Resource organization
SYSTEM: WORDPRESS
The Challenge
We designed and developed the very first Saturate website about 9 years ago – it was a super simple ministry site, with a few free resources. Over the course of the years, their ministry grew and they added a membership segment, courses, and a store to their website. The website became klunky and unmanageable because so many developers had worked on it – and the end users were frustrated because they could never find anything, and the unsubscribe rate was climbing. Not to mention that because the site was cobbled together by so many developers, it had become ridiculously slow and was using up so many server resources that it was costing them an extra $100 month in hosting fees. So our goal was to:
- Create an organized and easy to use resource section for members
- Create a “sneak preview” area for potential new members
- Clean up all old coding and remove shortcodes from pages
- Improve site speed issues and navigability
People have given us feedback that we have so many resources, it is difficult to navigate through all of them or know where to start.
We are so excited! This has been a long time coming – will be so wonderful to have a new site!

Before/After Resources:
SERVICE: Website redesign, Membership overhaul, Resource organization
SYSTEM: WORDPRESS
The Solution
We systematically reviewed and eliminated unnecessary pages, reducing the total from 165 to approximately 55. Following this, we established a clean WordPress installation on a staging server and meticulously imported all forms, courses, membership data, user accounts, products, and page content from the previous website. We removed outdated code snippets and deprecated page builders, resulting in a fully redesigned website. The new site features clear calls to action, a well-organized resource section for ease of navigation, and a completely restructured user experience for Saturate end users.
Things we improved:
- Sitemap Organization and Restructuring
- Site Speed Improvement
- Navigation & Content Improvements
- Custom WordPress Website Design and Development
- Overall User Experience

The improvements made to the Saturate website yielded significant enhancements in both functionality and user experience. By reorganizing and restructuring the sitemap, we ensured that content was logically arranged, making it easier for users to find relevant resources quickly. The site speed improvements we implemented resulted in faster load times, reducing bounce rates and increasing user engagement. Enhancing the navigation and content allowed for more intuitive browsing, guiding members seamlessly to the information they need.
The custom WordPress design and development provided a modern, responsive interface, further improving accessibility across devices. Overall, these updates led to a more efficient and enjoyable experience for members, driving higher satisfaction and increased site usage.

SERVICE: Rebrand, Website redesign

The Challenge
Christina contacted us for a rebrand and redesign of her old website. She felt her old website was a little too dark and had a clunky feel – aimed at kids and librarians, she said the science look wasn’t inviting enough. She felt it looked more like a repurposed WordPress blog rather than a custom site. The fonts were too small, the landing page didn’t even communicate at a glance who she was and what she did. She wanted to do more to market herself, as opposed to pushing out one book at a time, and she wanted us to incorporate some of her heritage throughout the website. So our goal was to:
- Create a new brand and logo for her that appealed to a span of ages
- Incorporate her Thai and Texas heritage
- Design a fun and engaging website that is easy to navigate
- Improve site speed issues SEO
I think my website is the most important tool to communicate who I am and what I do, and my current website isn’t doing that.
