Bakatono-sama Mahjong Man'yuki (バカ殿様麻雀漫遊記, Idiot Lord's Mahjong Journey) is a mahjong simulator released in 1991 for the Neo Geo in Japan only. It supports the Neo Geo Mahjong controller and it also allows the use of memory cards to transfer saves between the MVS and AES versions of the game.
Overview
Bakatono-sama Mahjong Man'yuki is a comedy-themed mahjong game based on the Japanese TV comedy show Shimura Ken no Bakatonosama. Instead of the board progression from its predecessor, Minnasan no Okagesama Desu, this game follows a more linear style of progression, where players take control of titular Bakatono-sama who challenges various other characters for mahjong matches. At some parts the player can take forks on the road, leading into different routes. While moving on the road, Bakatonosama will stop to talk with NPCs, who will either give him information, challenge him for mahjong matches or give/sell him items which can be used during matches or serve to progress the story.
