The Chaos Spear is an Item Box power-up that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Projectile Item used primarily to attack rivals.
Description
The Chaos Spear's icon takes the form of the yellow arrow, which its body flips around during the flying.
Overview
In gameplay, the Chaos Spear can only be obtained at random from Item Boxes by Movie Shadow. As with most other Items, Metal Sonic and Metal Sonic Mach 3.0 can also use the Seeking Flame if they use the Steal Item, or Fortune Teller Amy if she uses Lucky Draw or Wall of Cards to steal it from the aforementioned user.
Once obtained, the player can utilize the Chaos Spear by pressing its icon on the bottom of the HUD. When used, three bolts of Chaos Emerald energy will blast to the air from the user, appear above the leading or behind rival, which appears the yellow light aura appears from rival before hit successfully hit at rival. If a rival character gets struck by the Chaos Spear as it comes down, they will take damage, causing them to lose Rings and slow down momentarily. To avoid the Chaos Spear, the character must step out its lane.
The Chaos Spear can also be upgraded by leveling the user up to level 6 and 12 respectively. For each upgrade, the Chaos Spear will send more spears which _target more rivals.
