Being based on both a pig and a missile, the Enemy 10s are rocket-shaped Badniks with a red and orange color scheme and two large cartoonish eyes. Most notably however, the Enemy 10s have several pig-like characteristics such as their pig-like ears and snout, as well as having two orange colored tusks similarly to a wild boar.
Overview
In Sonic Superstars, the Enemy 10s appear as enemies throughout Speed Jungle Zone, appearing exclusively throughout the various vine-like Grind Rails in both of the main Acts of the Zone. In gameplay, the Enemy 10s will ambush the player while they are grinding on a vine, attempting to damage them by quickly flying at high speeds at their direction. Despite this, it is quite easy for the player to avoid the Enemy 10s attacks by simply jumping over them before they get the chance to hit them.
While the Enemy 10s can be easily destroyed via any basic attack method like with most Badniks in the game, the Enemy 10s can also destroy themselves if they ever come into contact with a wall (which happens quite frequently due to most of the Grind Rails ending with a large wall). Regardless if these Badniks are destroyed by the player or by them crashing into a wall, the Enemy 10s will release an Animal and award the player 100 points upon destruction.
Powers and abilities
Thanks to their missile-like bodies, the Enemy 10s are capable at flying at incredible speeds that are able to keep up with Sonic and his allies. They are also quite good navigators, as the Enemy 10s will follow the vines that they speed through to a tee.
Weaknesses
Due to their fast speeds, the Enemy 10s are quite vulnerable to head-on collisions, as they will immediately get destroyed if they hit any hard surface while flying at top speeds.
Trivia
It is possible to completely avoid encountering any Enemy 10s throughout Speed Jungle Zone by avoiding the triggers that spawn them while on the Grind Rails.
This can be easier to perform using either Tails or the BulletEmerald Power due to their better mobility options that make it easier to skip past these sections.
