Super Shadow is a transformation that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is the Super State of Shadow the Hedgehog, achieved by absorbing the power of seven Chaos Emeralds.
Appearance
As Super Shadow, Shadow retains the exact same appearance as in his normal self, except that his fur becomes golden lemon-cream.
History
Past
Shadow first reached this transformation when he allied himself with Super Sonic to stop the Biolizard from destroying Sonic's World with the Space Colony ARK, an act which caused him to seemingly perish after using all his energy and falling toward the atmosphere.[1] He later transformed again to battle Devil Doom, whom he managed to defeat, ending the Black Arms invasion of Sonic's World.[2][3]
The last time Shadow used this form was during an aborted timeline where Solaris attempted to destroy time. He stopped the demigod with Super Sonic and Super Silver. These events were, however, erased from the timeline.[4]
Powers and abilities
Most of Super Shadow's abilities remain unknown, although it is shown that he is capable of flight.[3]
